At Charles Austen we have developed a unique range of liquid pumps range with a large spectrum of flow rates to best fit the environments they are installed in. Our liquid pump range can be used on anything from beverage dispense, IVD analysis, medical suction, ink jet printing and even laser cooling. If cant find the correct pump for the job then visit our bespoke division where our pumps can be modified or custom built from scratch.

ROTARY DIAPHRAGM PUMPS


Patented rotary diaphragm pumps use the Charles Austen patented technology. The flow of liquid is initiated by an eccentrically mounted bearing on a drive shaft revolved within a flexible diaphragm. As the shaft rotates, the bearing flexes the diaphragm, squeezing liquid through the pump. These pumps have outstanding self-priming characteristics and are of a valve-less, seal-less design.

DIAPHRAGM PUMPS


The simple yet efficient diaphragm pumping principle uses a magnetically operated diaphragm. This action flexes a diaphragm at one or both ends of the connecting rod within a totally sealed pumping chamber. This eliminates sliding parts keeping wear, tear and power consumption to a minimum.

CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS


Centrifugal pumps incorporate a rotary impeller which draws the liquid into the inlet. The centrifugal action forces the fluid to the extremities of the chamber and through the outlet at pressure. Due to their valveless design the output from these pumps is completely smooth and gives good flow performance from a compact unit.
